International Palanga Airport

International Palanga Airport is a regional airport located in the western part of Lithuania,near the Baltic Sea. The third largest city, ice-free seaport, Klaipeda, is located 35 km south of the airport. The Airport has perfect road links with major cities of the region and neighboring countries. The LDSC will handle shuttle from airport to the hotel and back.

Entries

Participants

Athletes from 14 countries are coming. From Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Lithuania, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine.

Entry fees and payment

Friendship through sport! Single type of accommodation, single fee for each competitor. Entry fee is 845 Euro/per participant (Between 23 September – 02 October), 470 Euro/per participant (between 23 – 28 September or between 27 September – 02 October) 75 Euro/per participant for additional day (before, after or during championships). The number of single rooms is limited. Maximum 2 single rooms for one country.

Entry fee includes:

Accommodation in Official Hotel Žuvėdra Palanga, full board, accreditation fee for EDBC and/or EDYBC competitions, transport from/to Palanga airport, train station, bus station, local taxes and water bottles.

30 % of entry fees must be paid via Bank transfer until 01 August 2022.

Accreditation

Official accreditation will be on 23 September from 15.00 to 19.00 o’clock and on 24 September from 9.00 to 16.00 o’clock at the event centre.

Anti-doping

All participants will follow valid WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) regulations, ICSD (International Committee of Sport for the Deaf) Anti-Doping regulations and the International Badminton Federation Anti-Doping Rules.

Health services

The LDSC will coordinate healthcare service for participants and will provide first-aid at each competition area. The LDSC will not bear any responsibility related to the cost of medical services of the participants. Each Federation is responsible for the health insurance of all their delegates.

Covid - 19

It is not necessary anymore to bring a negative COVID-19 Test to Lithuania.
